dignity in motion- providing specialized care where it's needed most.

In-Room Therapy

Professional massage is a proven tool for managing chronic pain, yet it remains one of the most inaccessible services for those with complex disabilities. Between the logistics of medical transport and the lack of specialized providers, many residents go years without therapeutic touch. Our In-Room Services bridge this gap, delivering expert care to the bedside and removing the logistical hurdles that stand between a resident and natural relief.

Adaptive Massage for natural Pain Management

We bring professional, individualized massage therapy directly to those residing in Omaha's long-term care and rehab facilities.

What is Adaptive Massage?

Adaptive massage is clinical therapy specifically tailored for individuals navigating the complexities of long-term care and rehabilitation. By adapting our techniques to accommodate medical equipment, mobility limitations, and neurological sensitivities, we ensure that every session is safe, accessible, and effective. This specialized focus allows us to work in harmony with a resident’s existing physical therapy goals, providing targeted pain management and muscle relief directly where—and when—it is needed most.

Facility Partnership

We collaborate with long-term care facilities, day programs, and rehab centers to integrate adaptive massage into their existing care structures. By working closely with certified nursing assistants, nurses, physical therapists and dedicated caregivers, we ensure our services complement the daily care plan and support the incredible work these staff members do to maintain resident comfort and well-being.

OUR FOUNDING PURPOSE

Bridging the Gap Through Community Support

Massage Care Connection was founded to ensure that physical and financial limitations never dictate who receives the benefit of therapeutic care. While the medical community recognizes the profound impact of massage on chronic pain and mobility, it remains out of reach for many residents in long-term care due to cost and accessibility.

Through the generosity of our donors and partners, we are changing that. Every contribution goes directly toward providing specialized bedside sessions for individuals at facilities like QLI and Mosaic who would otherwise go without. By supporting our mission, you aren't just funding a service—you are providing a vital tool for pain management and a better quality of life for our neighbors with disabilities.

Erica Mobley, LMT, AMTA

Executive Director, Founder

Erica M. Mobley has dedicated 13 years to the art and science of medical massage therapy, specializing in clinical recovery and complex pain management. After nearly a decade of working alongside chiropractors and physical therapists, Erica transitioned her focus to the specialized needs of the disability community. For the past five years, she has worked within premier care settings like QLI and Mosaic, providing tailored therapeutic care to a personal client base of over 40 individuals with unique neurological and physical needs.

Throughout her daily work in Omaha’s long-term care facilities, Erica witnessed a heartbreaking disparity: while many residents benefit profoundly from professional massage, countless others with limited means are left without access to the same natural pain relief.

Driven by the conviction that therapeutic touch is a necessity—not a luxury—Erica founded Massage Care Connection. Her mission is to bridge this gap in healthcare, ensuring that every resident, regardless of their financial situation, receives the dignity, comfort, and specialized care they deserve.
